It's funny that you brought this up, because lately, I have begun looking up the benefits of eating certain foods. I found myself eating more English cucumbers because they were grown in Ontario. Just for the heck of it, I did some research on the internet to see if they had any nutritional or other value, and I learned a lot. So then I went on to learn about other foods that I eat a lot of. And again, all of the information was an eye opener.
I have found that since I quit smoking, I want to learn more about diet and nutrition. When I smoked, I felt, what's the point, smoking makes everything meaningless. But now, I have a real chance to improve my health further, and I'm going for it. Quitting smoking has given me a new lease on life, and I really appreciate that. It's fun to start caring about yourself again.
