Hi cec57,
You have two smoke free weeks under your belt. That is terrific!
I know this journey is difficult. That is why I told myself I was only going to go through this hell once. And that is yet another thing that keeps me strong when the going gets tough.
Your body and your mind are going through changes, cec57. So it's only natural that your feelings are all over the place. You may be grumpy, or you may be sad. You might need to have a good cry (or two, or three). Do whatever you have to do, cec57. Laugh, cry, write, or go for a walk. Keep using the patch and the gum. As long as you do not smoke, you are heading in the right direction.
And remember. It WILL get better, it really will. It just takes time, so you have to be patient.
I am rooting for you, cec57. Hang in there. You're worth it!
