    Hi cor,

Congratulations on your very first 12 smoke free days!  Yeah, it's hard for sure.  It's a real shock to your system when you take away all of those chemicals.  But man, the end result is so worth it.

Hang in there, cor.  Drink lots of water and keep distracting yourself.  Just take it one step at a time, and before you know it, you'll be at the top of the ladder!

    Hi cor,

Hope you're hanging in there today.

You are right in the thick of it, so it may be difficult to believe, but it does get better. It won't be like this forever.

Like treepeo suggested, water and deep breathing are good to turn to right now and I would add, treat yourself to something nice. (nothing you'll feel guilty about)
    You deserve it,
    Lillian

    Hi cor,

Quitting smoking is hard!  hang in there, and keep going.  Keep trying.  It is worth it.

I quit March 5 and the first two weeks were the hardest for withdrawal, even with NRT's.

The days (and nights) are better and better.  I drink lots of water, chew Nicotine gum and lozenges, take deep breaths, and remind myself why I am quitting.  it helps.....a lot.
