    Hi Saintjohnquitter506,

Welcome to the website and congratulations on 2 days of being tobacco free!

The method you use to quit would be your choice and we are here to support you with whatever decision you make. Just so that you have some information on e-cigarettes, they are still doing testing on these products and at this time we do not know what the long term effects of them may be. They have not been approved by Health Canada at this time so there  are also no regulations around them.

Here is the link for Health Canada's website if you would like to read more: https://www.canada.ca/en/sr.html?cdn=canada&st=s&num=10&langs=en&st1rt=1&s5bm3ts21rch=x&q=e-cigarettes&_charset_=utf-8&wb-srch-sub=

Hope that helps. Look forward to hearing about your quit.
    Emily

    Hello saintjohnquitter506

No Matter what to use instead smoking is ok, unless your are changing your habit.

I quit cold turkey, with the help of Nicorete quit Mist, it helps me to stay free for last 2 years and 1/2. i used to smoke 3 packs a day. No More.

    Good Luck in your quit!.

well kinda stressed tbh i am moving into a new place in alittle over a month and in the past i would light up with a nice drink to chill out well i don't dare drink because temptations to spark up a ciggie and i don't dare slip up although i did have a puff off a ciggie earlier..feel like a failure becs of it...i am thinkin of going gym to get rid of the stress and to preoccpie my thoughts of smokin
the vape seems to take the edge off but i hear its not "appproved" by health canada but hay it works for me ehh its just vapour!

    Hi Saintjohnquitter506,

I don't know much about vaping, but I think that anything is better than smoking, so all the power to you.  Just take it one day at a time.  You can do this.
