    Hi Everyone 👋
After trying to quit a few times this past year, I'm trying again. First time I've ever posted about it, but I had my last cigarette....I hope....today at 12:30 pm. I'm using the patch, and the gum, and so far, so good. I realize what my triggers are, and I had a few times today where I could have ate a pack, but I persevered. I'm really hoping to finally quit once and for all, but I know it's way to early to let my guard down. Glad this site is available, and hope to get ideas and advice from other people

Congrats on quitting Dogmother. Take it one day at a time. I also used the patch   I am 6 months smoke free. I read a lot on this site it seemed to really help hearing other stories. Best advice I learned is NOPE. Not one puff ever

Thanks Sara, and I'm really glad these forums are here, and enjoy reading them. It's nice to know other people actually get the struggles of trying to quit smoking. My non smoking friends say ...just quit. Ah....if it was only that easy!

Thanks for the advice, and glad to hear you've quit for 6 months. Congratulations 👏 I love the Nope analogy, and I think it will really help
