I finally decided to quit smoking again. This time I am feeling pretty confident in my decision. Of course I worry I will slip up but I’m going to be one to myself and keep on quitting. I am extremely proud of myself.

I am using the nicoderm patches this time which actually it is making a world of difference !

    Stay strong fellow quitters!!! 💪

    Sarita,

Congrats on getting back to quitting smoking.

Slips happen, it is what we learn from those slips, and past quit attempts, that help us eventually find our magic moment - when we know we are ready to quit.

Use the patch, mist, gum, heck even steeped early grey tea with honey and sugar sprinkles - whatever works to help you.

One thing that really made a difference for me in my last quit was I realized that I was an addict to smoking, and instead of worrying about what I thought I'd  be missing, I thought about what I'd be gaining.

One question you need to ask yourself - "how badly do I want to quit?"
    Therein lies your answer to.....

    Hi sarita!

I like your attitude, and that is going to go a long way to help you succeed.

I quit using the patch three months ago, and it helped to manage the cravings for sure. By doing so, I was able to tackle the emotional dependency on smoking.

I'm on the final stage of the patch, and although I feel the decrease in the nicotine, I know "how" to do this!

Keep us posted on how you're doing!

    Sarita,

I am using the patches and the first day and a half were rough cause I wasn't using a strong enough patch. Now, all is good and my last cigarette was November 30th at 10pm. Feeling good this morning, however, not sleeping well as I've been up since 2am. You should be very proud and never quit trying to quit!!
