This weekend has been so hard for some reason. Today is day 17 and my cravings have been so strong. I have fought so hard and I thought it a few times it would just be easy to sneak just one or just become a closet smoker. Than I would be lying to everyone and to my kids. I do know and understand it is the addiction talking, so I just keep telling myself I am stronger than that and I can do this. But I sure wish it gets easier soon. And so glad its Monday tomorrow and I can get back to work. Gee now that's something I never thought I would say.

    Hi jenny12,

Good for you for not giving in!  It can be really hard to fight those cravings, so you should be really proud of yourself for staying so strong.

I hope since you're back at work that this week will be easier for you.  And congratulations on your 17 days.  That is wonderful!

    Hi Jenny 12,

Good job overcoming your cravings! I was a closet smoker for a time and it is one of the harder charades I attempted. No matter how hard I tried to hide the smoking, somebody could smell the smoke on my clothes, my breath, my coat. I was guiltily trying to live a lie.

    Hi jenny12,

Congratulations on 17 days of being smoke free and for getting through a tough weekend.

How are you feeling now that you're back to work and you have that as a distraction?

Monday was such an easy day, woke up felt great. Had my morning coffee and got ready for work. If I had any cravings they were very minor I barely noticed them. I also have to say that I am very happy I didn't slip over the weekend.

I was just like you, Jenny.  I had a whole week off and went mad, but now that Im back at work I don't have any strong craves and everything is hunky dory again.  And like you, I never thought I'd say I can't wait to be back at work!  LOL!!
