As I approach 48 hours smoke free, I can say I am feeling good about what I am gaining and knowing that is overriding the cravings. I think the most important thing is keeping occupied every minute of the day so there is no time for thinking about having a smoke. The time passes fast when I am busy. Updating my savings spread sheet hourly is a positive reinforcement. My sinuses are clearing today and exercising this morning was easier. My blood pressure feels lower.

Hello eagerquit - congrats on 48hrs quit! Way to go!
The cravings and urges to smoke are very common, usually peaking by day 2 or 3, and you are handling them very well. Keeping track of your savings is a great idea - what are you planning to spend the $ on instead? A real motivator, and you deserve a reward!
It really is quite impressive how quickly the body goes into withdrawal, and is working hard on getting well - clearer breathing and lower blood pressure is a reward unto itself!
All the best in coming days,
    Sarah
