    Hi Chartippybum,

It is a great feeling when the body heals. I am also just over a month smoke free and can finally take a deep breath without a cough. My reason for quitting is for my health. I was also scandalized by the poisons I was ingesting and inflicting on the environment with cigarettes, as well as the significant financial drain literally going up in smoke.

I have a bucket list of items I would like to do with the saved money, including trips, wardrobe and spring planting. They will be my rewards as time goes on.

Wonderful reasons you all have listed.

Eagerquit- knowing your body is healing feels amazing doesn't it?  Excellent reasons you have to quit smoking.  And now to have a bucket list which you may not have if you didn't quit smoking, so much to look forward to!

Chartippybum- being happy that you quit is such accomplishment!

All the best to you and your reasons to stay quit will reap many more benefits!

    Marianne
