Good morning anault, and welcome to SHL.ca
Congratulations on making the decision to quit smoking. We are here to help: we have an amazing, supportive community of members - such as brieffree! - who have been through, or are working through, the quit process. Its a safe place to share how you feel, ask questions, and yes, 'get help'. Its a no-judgement zone, and likely theres a community member who has had a similar experience. Additionally, you have the option to talk to a quit coach at 1-877-513-5333.
So in other words, you're in the right place! And welcome again to you.

    Warmly,
    Sarah

    Hi anaul

Congratulations on your decision to quit smoking. It is a good idea to have a quit plan in place. Make a list of your reasons for quitting and keep it in a place you look at often. You might discuss the possibility of using quit aids with your doctor, pharmacist and a quit coach. You will also find support here in the forums.

    Wishing you every success.

    Hi Anault,

Some districts do have programs that help with the cost of the quit aids It isn't every area that does. Some Family Health Team practices offer it as well. The best thing to do, is to give us a call and we will look up the local resources and let you know if that is available.

    Our number is 1-877-513-5333.

    Lillian
