Quitting smoking has been in the back of my mind a lot lately.

However it wasn't until I looked at the cost calculator that I realized just how much money I have wasted on this nasty habit. I no longer have many friends from school (where the habit began) and even my Signifcant other has also decided to quit today. Imagine the money we can squirrel away in a few months.

I tried to seriously quit once before - I lasted 5 days, before I caved due to some family drama, but In the end if was my own decision to restart the habit.

This is it. 2020, let's start fresh. I'm 27 years old and male, and I am so sick of this money stealing addiction. Wish me luck, I'm sure its going to get a little rough.

    Thanks for reading!
    Ronald

I quit Jan.01.19 - so just over a year ago. Saved $5,209.00 in just one year!!!!

With you and SO quitting together you'll have each other to lean on.

    Good luck.

    Welcome!

I think it's fantastic you are taking this journey. I'm four months into my quit, and although the money I've saved is great, the greatest benefit is the absolute freedom I've gained!

We are all here for you, so come here often and reach out whenever you need to.

Keep us posted on your progress!

Well, you are not alone. I just tried to quit in mid November but relapsed because of the holiday period parties. Today is a day 3 of trying to quit again. Hopefully, this time it is going to be a success.
