last night i was in bed reading my book and all of a sudden i thought i could smell cigarette smoke. i started to sniff the air and was triggered.i never smoked in my apartment, washed all my linens and clothes to make sure nothing would have the smell of smoke. i got over this by focusing on my book. so is there such thing as memory craving.

    Hi cec57,

You've got some great insight there…being able to identify what is happening, a “memory craving” like you said, helped you get over this situation – Way to go! You have such a great awareness about yourself and you’ve done a wonderful job at building on your strengths and skills.

Congratulations for all the hard work you’ve done to reach this day! You are doing fantastic. Keep going strong!

    Hi cec57

I remember that I smell it too, and I get sick of it, I washed and paint my Apartment, get rid of damage shirt with holes due to smoking, and many other thinks!

Is good that you identify that to be prepare to get rid of it! Great job! Be proud!

    Hi cec57,

Way to go!  You have now resisted two powerful cravings by finding other ways to cope.  You know what?  The more you resist cravings, the fewer of them you will get.  Your body will start to learn that you are not going to give in.  You have a great attitude, cec57, and a strong determination to succeed.  Hang in there.  You are doing great!
