I quit smoking 74 days ago. I have been smoking for over 50 years. On Oct. 31, I ended up in the hospital. Severe COPD and pnemonia. I spent a week in there, and right away my Dad got very sick in Florida at their winter home. I live in northern Ontario. I ended up having to fly down there, because we weren't sure if he was going to make it. He did get well enough to be flown back to Canada. In and out of the hospital here. We all had to take turns being with my Dad and my Mom, 24 hours a day. Very tiring for me. My Dad passed away Monday Jan. 6th. Funeral is this weekend, not having a cigarette through this is very hard, but I have managed.
Anyway, thank you for letting me vent

    Hello busysharon
Firstly, our sincerest sympathies for the loss of your dad. So very sorry to hear.
You've been through so much in the past months, and yet you've stayed smoke-free. Can you tell us more how you've been able to manage?
We are here anytime if you need to vent.
    Thinking of you,
    Sarah

    Hi busysharon,

Please accept my condolences and I'm sure this is a very challenging time for you. As well, I hope your own health is on the mend.

You are exceptionally strong to have gone through such a stressful time and still remain smoke free. I admire that.

We are here for you and keep moving forward because you're so worth it.
