    Hi Iggy,

Congratulations on your decision to go smoke free. There is so much to enjoy in life without the harsh addiction dictating your actions. Develop a plan for dealing with the cravings and hang out here for ideas others have adopted for success. You have the power! Good Luck!

    Hi iggy,

It's great that you set a quit date.  In order to prepare for your quit, write a list of all the reasons why you want to quit and keep it handy.  Get in the habit of drinking lots of water.  And think of things you can do when the cravings start to hit.  The more you prepare in advance, the more likely you are to quit successfully.

Above all, believe in yourself.  You can do this, iggy!

    hey!

new to this as well!  I have set my quit date for Friday, October 5th.   I have tried 2 times prior to quit, and lasted 2 days, so I am hoping to make it longer this time.   My end goal, is to be smoke free, so I can start a family with my husband.  :D wish me luck!!

    Good luck to you Iggy

    Hi jessikah204,

Congratulations for setting a quit date and thank you for sharing this good news!

Quits lasting 2 or 3 days are so common because those tend to be the hardest. Hang in there! The more you quit the more you succeed!

    Good luck to you!
