    Hi Jeyan,

I know it is disappointing not to have that old quit meter! Keep in mind this is a work in progress and something like that might be ahead in our future here!

If you go onto the old site you can check your profile for your details and note them here on your posts.(it shuts down as of dec 1, so try to check it soon)  I did find this post from you on November 21st of this year. On that date you were 401 days smoke free.

"Thanks guys!! Now I think, I am over the cravings part. I just need to keep reminding myself that I am a non smoker and smoking is a nasty habit. Also, for those who are ahead of me in the meter, watch out I am coming your way, and for those who are behind me, catch me if you can. :).. Have a great day guys... We can do this!!!""

I hope that in spite of these changes and some of the missing features, you can get back to keeping your quit strong. We are working on the site and we will keep everyone up to date!

    Hang in there members.

Thanks for always being there for us, Lillian!
These first several days are going to be the most difficult for many of us members from the previous forum, as we struggle through to adapt to this new site.
It's really not that bad considering it's only a couple of days old - but could definitely use some polishing.

Kyle had mentioned that he was going to establish a section for FAQ / Issues for this new forum, and I think that would be a great place to start.  Hopefully by tomorrow, we'll have a place to make note of our concerns - and maybe things will start getting resolved in some kind of prioritised order.

In the interim, I'm just glad to see plenty of the member and staff names from the previous forum here, as things start to get back on track with the new layout.

Remember everybody: IT'S ABOUT HELPING EACH OTHER QUIT - the aesthetics of the site can be improved upon as it develops.  We're the ones shaping the contents of this site - let's do a good job!!!

    Your QUIT buddy, Jim.

    Jeyan; (And everyone else...)

The old site is still available at the following link:

Please keep in mind that they've suggested that the old site is going to be 100% GONE as of tomorrow - so make note of anything that you want from that old site ASAP today, to ensure that you don't lose anything permanently.

    Hi motherjoe,

Can you suggest an app?  Oh, I forgot, SHO doesn't like us giving the names of any groups or anything.  Can you give me a hint as to what I should type in, such that this site won't shut down the info you give me?  The quit meter is really important to me.

    Hi petermac,

Woohoo, that is terrific!  It must have made you feel so good to say, I am now a non-smoker!  Way to go!  And you know what?  If you ever need surgery, you will heal faster now that you don't smoke.  It really makes a huge difference.  So keep up the good work.  You are doing great!!!
