I am celebrating making it to 55 days !!! woo hoo and the struggle is still there but mainly in the evenings after dinner and definitely with alcohol. I wish I felt more excited about it but I am determined even if I have to write it every day and mark every day ... I know it's not suppose to be easy and I know it has to come from me

    Hi alexjw,

    Congratulations on day 55!!

Good to hear you have identified your triggers, because that will help you plan around how to manage them. If you have made it 55 days smoke-free after dinner and when drinking, you are definitely doing something right in those moments of temptation.

Sometimes we are hard on ourselves when we are still struggling later into a quit, but think about how much of your life was spent smoking and in comparison, how long you have been quit. It can take a long time before these new routines feel 'smoke-free'.

Keep up the incredible work you are doing, you have awesome determination,

    Jenna Lee
