    Hello all,

I just completed the quit meter and am thrilled to report that I have quit as of October 25 1997 and most surprising is that I have not smoked 116,370 cigarettes and have saved $46,548.00!
    WOW!

Have you all tried this quit meter? I find it very motivating.

    Renee

Well look who's buying dinner tonight!!!

    Thanks for sharing Renee!

116,370 cigarettes is nearly 9.8km long if lined up end-to-end (assuming King Size 3.31").

    hey butterflyna,

On your dashboard, you can enter your future quit date, and once it has begun, you will be able to see these stats.

    Hi Renee,

Wow, that's awesome!  What amazing stats!  Aren't you glad you quit when you did?

I really like the quit meter.  I found it motivating when I first started my quit, and now I look at it from time to time to check on my stats.  I have to say, when I see how many cigs I would have smoked if I hadn't quit, I feel sick.  When you smoke, you don't think about it.  So when you quit and you see the numbers, it's both shocking and horrifying.  It just goes to show that it's never too late to quit!

    Renee,

The Dashboard is a huge motivator through my quit. Every morning I get up and look at the quit meter to see how much I have saved, days not smoked, and cigarettes not smoked. It is shocking to see it in black and white how much smoking really cost.
