Hi mars68, and welcome to the forum.  This place can be a tremendous aid in your journey to quit smoking.

And while I don't disagree with your math, I still don't like it!  $300,000K.  Seriously, smoking is one expensive addiction!

    Hi mars68,

I love your determination!  It sounds like it is your time to quit.  And it will lead to a new you, that being a non-smoker.

It's going to be hard at first, so brace yourself.  Drink lots of water, and do things to distract yourself.  Keep busy.  And dig deep.  You are stronger than your addiction.  Every time you get a craving and resist it, you get a little bit stronger and eventually, the cravings start to get weaker.

It's exciting to change your life.  And when you think of all the money you will save, wow.  I went to Mexico courtesy of all the money I saved.  And waiting at the airport and the flight itself were a breeze, because I no longer had any cravings.  I could actually have a bite to eat without worrying about how I was going to handle the pain of not smoking.  Honestly, the freedom is wonderful!

Happy Canada Day, and Happy New You!!!
