Amazing amazing amazing support here. Thank you for the great advice and encouragement to move forward despite my slip. I will certainly take your words to heart. Started the patch, and feeling very motivated to keep moving forward. So happy you are here to help me. Really, I am.

I can really admire your determination to get back to a quit after slipping. That shows you are ready to quit, you just need to learn how to do it right......

I tried to quit so many times over the years and never got to day 7 before I would slip and then give up trying to quit. Finally took me really wanting it to make my quit break through the 7th day and I just kept going.

Dig deep for your willpower, and read up as much as you can about quitting.

Also, start watching non-smokers to learn how to become one....I know it sounds weird, but we also have to learn how to be a non-smoker.

This is great news, justfortoday! I echo what atp said in that your determination is evident and you are ready to quit.  It is normal to have slips as long as you can avoid relapses.

Learning from out slips is important so that you will be prepared for that situation next time.
I am glad to hear you are still wearing the patch and motivated to keep going!
