    Hi everyone
i am new to this site, but not a stranger to sho, I was quit for almost 8 Years when I started smoking again, that was almost 2 years ago,   Now I humbly come back to the place I called home for almost 8 year . On August 4 I will be celebrating 3 months, not much has changed, I still crave cigarettes, I still at times want to go to the store and get a pack, but I know I can’t do that, I am fighting for my life and at times I am just nearly hanging on, so i humbly ask you my sho family to welcome me back, my pride and arogence are gone, since I was last here I’ve been through some real tough health issues,  it here I am

    Hi Smitty,

Welcome back! I know only too well what you are going through. I quit for seven years back in the 1980's then went back to smoking. I told myself that I could always quit again at any time. That was much easier said than done! Starting in 2000 I tried to quit again and got a month here and a week there. After being hospitalized two years ago I got five months off smoke  free then relapsed. The difference this time is that I have a solid quit plan and the support of the Smoker's Helpline forums. Posting and reading the posts here have been a big help.

I hope you will continue to post your experience and exchange responses. Wishing you another smoke free day!
