   Hi everyone it's Mud Man
   
   I haven't logged into this site for a long time because I have been waiting for improvements. Well here I am and so far I don't see any. It still says that I have only been smoke free for a year. 
   
   
   I sure sure miss the routine that we used to have on here. What's taking so long? 😩 Also the speed is unbearable 😖

   Hey Mud Man, Hipster here....I hear you loud and clear, I checked in after several months figuring that the site would at the very least be back to where it was before the 'new site' was launched but it doesn't look like anything has been done.  Still no avatars, profile summary or private messaging?  And yes, still shows our progress as 1 year smoke free... So disappointing...I feel sorry for the new quitters, I don't think the new site provides the same opportunity for support as it did when we were newbies.   I was glad to see a message from you and that your are doing well, KTQ my friend.

   Work is being done behind the scenes that will address some of this, so stay tuned. I will have an update in the next couple of weeks.
   
   Some of these, like private messaging, are not coming to the site. The stats from the old site on its usage don't remotely justify the significant cost to develop and implement. We need to focus our limited time and funds on the features that will be of most benefit to the greater community. This has been explained in other posts, so I urge you to go back and read them.
   
   The speed issue is frustrating for everyone (including myself and the Quit Coaches), and we continue to look for a solution. As requested before, please let us know when you experience slowdowns by posting time, date, browser info, etc in this forum, so that we can identify the areas in our infrastructure that need to be addressed.
   
   Above all, if you miss the routine and the community, please come back and contribute in a positive way. You are part of the community, and it is what you make it.

   I'm new to this Forum.   Also finding the site very slow, to the point it's frustrating, doesn't seem to matter what time of day, but I generally pop on before or after supper, or after work so after 11 pm.   Sometimes in the morning.  I use a laptop, have high speed internet, and use google chrome.

   This site is very slow. as this has been prolonging, I am even thinking if this is a tactic to clean out us, the older users who are now smoke free. :)

   Thank you for sharing your concern, Jeyan, but rest assured: we are so thankful for the rich support and info from members such as yourself. Your long-time quits are inspiration and important to this site. 
   We do sincerely appreciate your patience, as Kyle says above and we are looking for solutions re: the speed of the site. Any particular time of day that is slower than others? And what browser do you use?

   Ha! Jeyan, I assure you, if that were the case it would clean ME out of the site first. You guys are die-hards, and I have no intention of letting you go easily. This has been frustrating for everyone, myself included. We do have an update coming soon (but no release date yet) that may have some speed improvements bundled in. I will update as soon as I have firmer timelines.
