    Hi marion777,

Congratulations on more than three weeks smoke free. That is an awesome accomplishment. You are quite right that even just one smoke is dangerous. N. O. P. E. (not one puff ever). Put a list of your reasons for quitting in your pocket and take it with you. If you feel a temptation, put your hand in your pocket and think about the list. Yes, it does get easier with time. Hang in there.

    Hi marion77,

I just wanted to add that deep breathing can really help. Focus on nice and slow inhale through your nose and exhale slowly out of your mouth several times in a row to help.  It eases the tension that comes with temptations. Like brieffree and eager suggested, positive thinking and reviewing your reasons are also helpful tools in that situation.

Hope you managed through it last night! Keep us posted,

    Lillian
