I see that someone removed my last post about the new web site. I didn't mean any offence but "The Truth Must Hurt"!

    Hello Mud Man,

Since us Quit Coaches cannot answer your question, it has been forwarded to Kyle to reply to when the support team returns to the office on January 2nd.

Kyle has asked everyone to please email him/us through the "contact us" prompt for your personal and/or technical concerns.  He was able to be online with us at the onset to support you all through the transition.  However, now with his involvement in further development, he is not able to do so.  By emailing him, he will receive your thoughts directly and be able to respond quicker.

Moving forward, our public forum will continue to be focused on smoking cessation support as it always has been.

    Sincerely,

    Marianne

    Hi Marianne

I hear what your saying and I couldn't agree with you more. However it is hard to focus on our tasks (Smoking Cessation) when nobody is communicating the way we once were. This new change is very frustrating.

    I'm hoping it gets better.

    Hi Mud Man,

I know that change is hard.  But really, if you just try to keep an open mind, you will see that we are still communicating with each other.

Friday was my one year anniversary, and I posted about it.  I heard from some people, but not from you, and to be honest, that was disappointing and rather hurtful, because I have always regarded you as a mentor, and I have always tried to support you.  I know you don't like this new site, but the truth is, all of us are still the same people, we are still here, and we still need each other.  I wish you would just give this new site a chance.  Aren't we all about new beginnings?

Remember when you first quit smoking?  Remember all of the challenges you faced?  Didn't some people doubt you?  Didn't you find that some people never supported you in your attempt to quit?  Did you never wonder if you would ever be able to get it right, if you would learn from your mistakes?

The truth of the matter is, Kyle explained in detail why this new site was necessary.  He answered all of my questions, and I get it.  I'm not a techie, but I still get the basic gist of it.  And I am okay with it.  I'm not perfect, and I don't expect a first roll out of a new system to be perfect.  I know I have to be patient while the bugs and other stuff are found and addressed.  Just like when I quit smoking.  I had to figure out what problems I was going to have to face, and what I needed to do to address them.

I hope you come back to us, Mud Man.  I know I am not the only one who misses you.

    Hi Treepeo its Mud Man

First order of business I want to congratulate you on 1 Year. I would not have missed it on the previous site . You are also a inspiration to me and I thank you once again for all your support. I want you to know that I never left and that you and all of the rest of my fellow members and staff are very important to me also. I am frustrated with the new site and I can't understand why anyone would launch such a setup before perfecting it. Especially when as I recall, promises about "Exciting New Features". I have been with this site for quite a few years now and it sure has changed. Why don't they honour any members in the "Hall Of Fame" every month the way they used to? I'm sorry I guess I'm just tired of things getting worse instead of better in life.

Anyways, One thing that is better in our lives is that neither You nor I no longer smoke. THAT IS A GREAT THING MY FRIEND

"Congratulations On Your 1 Year My Friend"  (Keep up the great work)

    Mud 😎
