Hi dedi,
A big congratulations on your 105 days! That is really terrific!
I am sorry to hear that you are having problems with your gums, and that your test results weren't ideal. I know it's really stressful to go through medical tests and to have to keep waiting for results. I can understand why you have a lot of anxiety. But dedi, it would be so much worse if you were still smoking. Smoking damages everything inside and outside of our bodies, including our gums and teeth. So quitting smoking will only help to improve your dental health.
As for the blood in your urine, unfortunately you have no choice but to go through whatever tests the doctor recommends and wait for the results. I know it's hard, but try not to assume the worst. Sometimes our imagination gets the best of us. There is no use worrying about what we can't change. Eventually, you will find out what is wrong, and then you can work to tackle it. But again, whatever the problem is, smoking will only make it worse.
Please try not to associate smoking with good things. You would have had these problems even if you were still smoking. But now that you stopped smoking, you have a much better chance to fix any health problems easier and faster.
Try to do something fun this weekend, anything that you enjoy and that will make you happy. You need some cheering up! Be good to yourself, dedi, and keep the quit. I am rooting for you.
