Hi everyone,
I am so happy to celebrate 3 month of being smoke free!
Thank you all for your support! After having smoked for 50 years and having tried a few times to quit, I am finally able to kick the addiction
Reading the posts and posting has helped me so much in staying smoke free, couldn't have done it without
I thought lots of times I wouldn't be able to resist the temptation of just having one cigarette. The last couple of times I tried to quit smoking I made the mistake of giving in to just having one, and ending up with a pack a day again.
1 cigarette is one to many and 100 are not enough!
I wrote notes to remind myself the reason why I quit ( it fades with time) and I hung them on the fridge to see
I am on my last week of 7mg smoking patch and here and there I take a Nicorette gum. Whenever I step down to a lower nicotine dosage I feel really off, can't concentrate . It is just for 2 days until the body adjusts I guess.
Today, I treated myself to some yummy lunch and a pretty necklace, it made my day!
Smoke free, One day at a time
