    Hi Everyone,

I am on day 14 and trying to stay focused and positive in dealing with urges/cravings.  Any feedback would be appreciated. I have tried quitting several times, I really want this to be the end of cigarettes for me.

Congrats on quitting. Day 14 is great. Are you using any nicotine replacement. I found drinking water from straw cup was helpful and staying busy as possible

    Hi Pauline,

Congrats on making it 14 days!  That is wonderful.  I know it's hard, but stick with it, because quitting is the best thing you could do for yourself.

I found distracting myself was helpful.  I kept as busy as possible so I could focus on something other than smoking.  I also drank lots of water to flush the toxins out of my body.

You say you have tried quitting in the past but have not stuck with it.  I think most of us have done that.  The key is to live by NOPE (Not One Puff Ever).  If you never take that first puff, you will be a non-smoker forever.

You can do this, Pauline.  Believe in yourself.

Welcome to the forums Pauline. And well done on deciding enough is enough with the smokes. Everyone here shares that sentiment so you are not alone. 14 days (well 15 now) is amazing. Keep up the effort and read all you can on here. This community was and continues to be a life line for me.
