Seems like just yesterday I decided to quit.  The time has really just flown by but here I am smoke free for 3 months.  Big pat on the back for me and never going back.  Thanks to the coachs on this site and everyone else that taken there last puff.  For those considering quitting you came to the right place.  Cheers

Wow donr, 3 months already?  That is fantastic!  WooHoo!  See what you can do when you set your mind to it?

You must be so relieved that you no longer have to face the summer as a smoker.  I used to find it really hard to breathe when the weather got hot and humid.  I still don't like it, but I do breathe much easier now that I don't smoke.  It makes such a difference.

All your hard work and determination paid off.  But beware..  Don't get complacent, because this stupid addiction can come back to haunt you when you least expect it.  Just remember to live by NOPE (Not One Puff Ever), and you will be fine.  And do something to celebrate this amazing milestone.  You deserve it!

    Congrats again, donr!  You rock!

    donr,

Congrats on getting to 3 months smoke free.

It really is a freeing feeling you start to get at around this time in your quit when you are past the withdrawals and the habit side is fading.

I found that months 3 -12 were a learning curve on being a non-smoker and dealing with many 'cravings' when I did things that I usually had a smoke while doing. Fishing for fall salmon was a big one for me. It just felt weird not having a smoke while standing in the river. You'll have those odd moments that it just feels out of place not smoking. Not even a craving, just a habit thing. Keep your mind tuned to those.
