My 3 year 'no smoke' anniversary was yesterday, and I am  so happy that I shook this habit finally!  There are triggers occasionally, but thinking of all the positives to quitting makes it easier.  I have also saved 7,898.
which is amazing. Sometimes I still can hardly believe I have got this!! it seemed at times as a smoker that I thought I'd never be successful, but Here I Am..with a lot of help from this community and for that I really am so grateful, Thank you! I read where someone had said, just make the big leap of faith and believe in yourself, you can do it!

    Hi mari_m,

I can hardly believe you had your 3 year anniversary!  I remember when you were just starting out.  Wow, how time flies.
See how strong you are?  Yes, quitting poses a lot of challenges but you handled each and every one of them and look at you now.  You are a non-smoker!  Yippee!
I am really happy for you, mari_m.  You should be so proud of yourself, because quitting is a major accomplishment.  I hope you do something to celebrate this amazing victory!  You deserve the best!

    Hi Treepeo,
It is so nice to hear from you, and thanks for all the support you have given me these past 3 years! Everyone has been such a huge help!
Whenever I have a moment of thinking about missing a smoke, I just check in on this site, and reading the comments  gives me strength to hang in there!! And believe me when I say I have had some strong cravings, but I know I can pull up the strength to manage them now, with the help of this helpline, and hopefully I can in turn help support other people travelling down this path by sharing. Hoping all is well with you, -m
