Today marks my 2 months quit. I almost caved in yesterday but managed to keep my quit. Got into an argument with a friend.  I had some herbal tea and did some deep breathing. Then I called the friend back and we made up. I'm glad I didn't light up. The thought was there. But tis the season so I wanted to work it out. Turned out we both wanted to apologize. I remember nope. Not one puff ever. I can do this.

    Hi cindydavis,

Congratulations 🥳 on remaining strong & celebrating 2 months of being smoke free! You got into an argument with your friend & instead of lighting up, you did some deep breathing, had some herbal tea & eventually made up with your friend! Sounds like you just got through a difficult situation & practice healthy choices instead of smoking. Good for you! Keep rocking your quit!

    Hi cindydavis,

A big part of quitting is learning  how to cope with difficult situations without smoking.  Bravo to you for not giving in, even though you were tempted.  We tend to want to fall back into patterns we are familiar with, which makes change difficult.  But eventually, it will not even cross your mind to smoke when you are upset.

I am so glad you are living by NOPE.  You are rocking your quit.  You should be really proud of yourself!

Still remember nope. Not one puff ever. I say that everyday and it helps. I get fewer cravings during the day. I deep breAth and have herbal tea to relax.  Listening to some good music also helps.  Sill on the lozenges but find holding a straw works as well.  I am finding ways to cut back on them. Thanks for thinking of me. Doing pretty good with all this. I sill get frustrated sometimes but get by.
