I've gone off my lozenges to start using the second stage of the patches. Findind it a little better. I'm already over a month quit. So I figured the second stage would be enough. These cravings can be awful, but so far so good. I remember nope. Not one puff ever. I also remembered why I quit. I have health reasons. 52 years old I would love to make it a lot longer. So far I'm still smokefree.

Keep going Cindy... a month smoke free is great going. You should buy yourself something nice as a reward for all that hard work and effort. Im 41 and a week into my quit today. The withdrawal is horrible. Ive had heartburn on and off all week especially when I lie down. Hope that goes away soon cos its rotten. never had that as bad as a smoker. Im using the patch and im gonna go 6 weeks on the step 1 then move to step 2 and see how I go. This isnt my first quit so while the cravings are still coming at me full force Im kind of aware of what to expect.... take each craving as it comes and battle through. I remember that it wont be forever.

Thanks. Ya I'm holding on. This quit means a lot to me. Cravings come and go but I remember why I quit. Patches seems to be better then the lozenges.
Hope everything works out for you as well. Your right, it won't be forever.
