    Hello

After so many years, my Sun who is an Adult asked me for help to be Rehab due to his addiction. I can not describe How Happy and sad I am, a bit depress.

But I did not have any crave or thought about smoking! I saw my pass and I really regretted smoking for more than 36 years.

    One day at the time!

Have a Wonderful smoke free day!

    Brieffree,

It is hard when our children are struggling with addictions. All we can do is provide support and love whether it is quitting smoking, drugs or food addiction. My son, 19, quit smoking when I did on Jan.01. He still kept smoking weed though. It messed him up more than he realized. He is now trying to quit weed as well. A real struggle for us. I looked up some Nar-Anon meetings for him. He went to one.

With all the support you have given me and others on this site, I'm sure you will do great helping your son.

    Breiffree,

It can be incredibly hard watch our kids struggle. You did an amazing thing taking your son to get help for addiction.

And you make a good point - we always need to be vigilant in our quits.

You wont believe I waste my salary to help him. But works every penny!

He is like me, I could see his problem and if there is hope, time will say!

I really have to stopped thinking about his problem and learn how to accept him as he is. I love  him.

The problem is that I know myself, I do not tolerate Alcohol or drugs in my Life!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I know how Mad, craze, out of control I am or I could be if I see him High or drunk! He knows that! In the mid time, I know to give up an addiction like that it takes time, and works and time and support! No body told me, I been trough my problem and …………..

Lets wait until He comes back, I already make a plan how to change his appearance. But it will be up to Him. He is 24
