    Hello all! I’ve quit (again) for a couple of days so it’s still difficult. But I’m looking forward to this quit and I hope I’ll do better than before. Hopefully for good. The mind games are particularly hard and I’ve to stay focused but it’s not easy. I plan to use smokers helpline all throughout my quit.

    Welcome.
     
    The community is here for you, so keep on posting and sharing. Persistence really does pay off. Everytime you have tried to quit in the past, you've learned something. That knowledge is with you now, as are we!

    Hi Lei,

    Congratulations on a couple of days away from cigarettes. It will get better, and reading the posts of others' successes here will help. You are quite right about the mind games being hard. So much of smoking is psychological. Staying focused on the quit is the right path. Hang in there. You can do it. So many of us here have left that habit far behind!
