Hi coopra,
No need to feel awkward. Withdrawal causes all sorts of problems. For you, that includes constipation. That is what you have to tackle right away because yes, it hurts like mad. I recommend you try using a gentle laxative to get you over this hump. In addition, make sure you drink lots of water, and try to move around as much as you can. All three of those things should help to relieve your constipation, and then you will feel so much better.
I also had trouble sleeping when I first quit. I could fall asleep, I just couldn't stay asleep, and I woke up 3 times a night. So frustrating! So I took to having naps when I could, because I don't do well when I get too tired. I found that I had this problem for about a month, and then it eased off.
It sounds like cravings are the least of your problems at this point, which is probably a good thing. I hope it stays that way.
Congratulations on your 11 days smoke free. Hang in there, and I hope the tips I included here will help you.
