me_n_freedom,
Way to go - almost at 2 weeks!
The good news is that all that nicotine is out of your system! Those cravings are the addict in your head fighting you, but you are proving stronger and as each day passes the cravings will get weaker.
Sleep is a good thing. It helps your body recover, and bonus is you don't having cravings while sleeping!
I remember at about 2 weeks I really started to notice some of he benefits - my cough was going away, was breathing a bit better, my sense of smell and taste were coming back. Was still thirsty all the time and chewing through bags of Nibs....
One thing to start to recognize is that cravings are also partly related to routine. For so many years you probably followed the same routine - coffee/smoke, get in car/smoke, leave movie theatre/smoke, etc. That takes some work to re-train your body and mind. you need to start to learn to be a non-smoker. The 2 week mark is a good time to start doing that!
